Using DataScouts to map and explore the creative ecosystems, provides the means to combine a data-driven approach with a bottom-up methodology to curate the data and discover the enabling connections. DataScouts facilitates the communication between policy makers, researchers, the creative communities and industry partners. The fact based approach allows the ecosystem leads to monitor defined KPIs to measure the vibrancy of a creative ecosystem and the economic as well as societal impact they generate.
On the other side, DataScouts allows to enhance the mapping of the local creative ecosystems with non-structured information, inviting stakeholders to contribute to the platform, adding an informative layer about the different actors, their aspirations and their contributions to the innovation ecosystem, facilitating cross-disciplinary matchmaking, co-creation and co-performance.
