Which data is shown on the homepage?

The homepage gives you an overview of what is happening on the platform. It shows you what has been changed, what has been added and shows you the latest insights. It is divided into some sections:

  • The top banner
  • Message Board
  • Directory
  • Buzz
  • Files & Changes

BANNER

The banner consists out of the info button, the category overview and a call to action.

  • The info button has the tagline of the ecosystem just below it and is clickable. Once you click on it you arrive on the ecosystem description page where you have all the guidance of the ecossytem.
  • The category overview shows the 4 most used categories of this moment and the amount of actors with this category
  • The call to action depends on the role and the status of the user. For example: public ecosystem visitors will get a call to action to register on the platform, ecosystem members will get motivated to add and/or claim their company, … If all actions are done you see here an overview of your claimed actors, messages, …

MESSAGE BOARD

The message board section on the homepage is showing the 2 latest added announcements. All other announcements can be seen on the message board in the left navigation bar

DIRECTORY

The directory part on the homepage shows you a smaller version of the map and allows you to search immedialty on certain keywords, locations and tags. You also get an overview of the latest updated actors (both automatically enriched and edited by users)

BUZZ

The buzz section shows you all latest trends and insights. The latest funding rounds are mainly from external sources or added by users on the platform. The other 3 tabs: trending events, trending topics and key influencers are insights gathered from all posts, tweets and news. We basically scan all related social media posts and with the help of machine learning we turn them into trends.

FILES & CHANGES

Here you see an overview of the last files added, the last added reports and the latest changes. You only see what is relevant and accessible for you. That means an ecosystem owner will see the information of the whole platform and an ecosystem member will only see the data from his/hers claimed profiles
